The men found the snake resting after it had eaten an
animal. After catching it, the residents killed the reptile and posed
for photographs next to it. Anacondas, the biggest snakes in the world,
are nonvenomous and kill prey by asphyxiation. They live near rivers and
other bodies of water in tropical South America.The largest anaconda ever measured was almost 28ft long. Report by Mark Morris.

Have you ever noticed how Youtube is filled with all these claims of world’s biggest — like world’s biggest shark or world’s biggest snake — there’s even a video out there claiming to show the world’s biggest pimple! Last week, a follower on Twitter named random guy sent me a picture of what claims to be the world’s biggest tortoise that was found in the Amazon region of South America. Random guy, that is a huge huge tortoise… and I can understand why you want to know if it is real… or if it is fake… So why don’t we get under the shell on this thing and see what we can find out. On the surface, I think we can discount that this turtle is in the Amazon… If we take a closer look at the picture, we see a few things that would indicate the creature is actually in Japan.
